But look for us come fall of 2010!
Congrats to the Saints, well done, N.O.
Jill & Ren both finished a dismal 7-7 for the week. There were some odd games this week- plenty of upsets- the Jets over the Bills, the Bengals (holy crap) over the Jags, the Dolphins over the Broncos, the Colts over the Patriots, and not all that surprising really, the Steelers over the Redskins.
Greenbay fought hard against the Titans, but the silent killers of the AFC remain undefeated, and the Giants continued to show why they are the world champs- giving the Cowboys a resounding loss. The Bears found themselves once again with Rex Grossman at the helm, but managed to defeat a surprisingly spunky Lions squad. The Lions, by the way, have signed Dante Culpepper.
Due to the election, there will be no radio show tonight- but you can catch up on all the past Football Femmes shows at XXBN, just look for the tag “Football Fantasy”!
oh, and look at Ren’s Halloween Pumpkin…talk about a fangirl!
(Yes, there was a week 6, but it was soo odd, we didn’t blog about it, but the show is here!)
Tonight’s show can be heard here! It’s a good one!
Big upsets of Week 6: The Rams over the Redskins, The Cardinals over the Cowboys, and the Browns over the Giants. And holy field goal madness, batman!
Injuries & News: Tony Romo out with a broken pinky, McBriar out with a foot injury, Felix Jones out with a leg injury (Cowboys). Kitna (Lions) out with back injury for the rest of the season. Marshal Yanda (Ravens) out for season with a knee injury. Palmer (Bengals) out for another game with elbow injury. Hasselbeck (Seahawks) out with back/knee problems. Tillman (Bears) status uncertain due to shoulder injury. Stokley (Broncos) status uncertain due to concussion. Eli Manning (Giants) under observation with bruised chest. Jeremy Shockey (Saints) slated to play this week post sports hernia.

Walking the plank. Perhaps not this week, but Marv Lewis and Rod Marinelli need to improve things. Especially Marv. Bengals were awful, they showed progress, now they are aweful again. Could Brian Billick be an answer in Cinci? Does Bengals ownership care?
Rod Marinelli. Give the guy through the end of the year, perhaps longer, he has had a terrible GM to work with.
What more can be said about the Raiders. Al Davis, you are just trying to cheat Lane out of his contract. The commisioner should have stepped into this, Al pay Kiffin his money. Question, if you are the head coach of some tiny high school team like Farmintown Maine, and Al Davis offers you the chance to get paid gig as head coach do you take it?
